The time has finally come to unleash our plans for a glorious 2016 Summer Camp program!
This summer features a general “Bit + Bytes” level of camps for interested makers age 6 and up. The themed, week-long programs feature topics like robotics, flying, fort construction, motors & kinematics, skateboards, electronics and more! There’s something at this level for any amount of experience; we’ll cover the basics of each tool and technique along the way so that everyone can build something to remember.
We’ll also be offering an “Inter-Act” level for makers with some prior experience, age 10 and up. This level will have similar topics to the base level, but will emphasize connections between physical and digital techniques. Here, campers will be encouraged to take on larger self-directed projects which combine elements of our Bits & Bytes curricula into something truly amazing. Whether it’s a mechanized marble track, or an interactive virtual reality, campers will be truly be taking their summer to the next level.
Summer 2016 also is the debut of our top level “Apprentice” program directed towards teenagers. These evening classes will be entirely self-defined, giving campers free reign to work on their dream project in our state-of-the art maker lab. Of course, there will be customized curricular support provided by our enthusiastic staff of guides to help make sure the projects are the best they can be.
We’re truly excited to announce this Summer 2016 program, and we hope to see you and your makers soon!
