Field Trips + Events

Unique Experiences for your Students

We offer a huge variety of programs — after school courses ranging from 8 to 16 weeks, enrichment classes during the day, one-off workshops, day-off day camps, multi-part workshops, summer camp, and if somehow that doesn’t suit your needs, custom parties and events.

Certified and Safe

Our primary concern is always safety. Each course or session has comprehensive shop safety instruction, as well as specific instruction on any tools that will be used. Use of certain tools may be restricted by age or skill level, and our Guides supervise or monitor all tool use to guard against improper behavior.

Customized Field Trips

Each field trip has some amount of customization available, but fully customized engagements are possible. We can organize half-day, full-day, or multi-day projects to enhance your school curriculum. Combine with In-School Visits for maximum impact.

Project-Driven, Student-Focused

Bit Space can collaborate with schools on class projects that involve design thinking, physical construction, electronics, digital fabrication, and computer programming. Our expert Guides will work with students in all stages of the project—from brainstorming to project design to construction to finished presentations. Our courses are rigorous without being strict, and most importantly, incredibly agile; we can respond to students’ interests, strengths and deficits, and wild ideas.

We work with teachers to create one-day or multi-day projects to enhance the school’s curriculum. Students can work individually, in small groups, or collaborate on a large project. Combine in-school visits with Field Trips, and use our facilities to take the projects to the next level!

Prices start at $475 for up to 3 hours, and vary with the number of students, project scope, and materials required.

Mini Makerspaces at your School
